Meet Elizabeth.
Founder & Lead Consultant
A storyteller at heart, Elizabeth’s work is grounded in a narrative-driven approach to support inclusive, systemic change for a more equitable future. Her multidisciplinary perspective combines almost a decade of experience in communications, project management, and impact strategy.
Elizabeth specializes in topics at the intersection of social impact and finance, including impact investing, philanthropy, community and economic development, corporate social responsibility, faith-based investing, and impact measurement. Her work has been featured in Morningstar and she was named one of LA Times B2B Publishing’s 2023 Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) Visionaries. In addition to her work through Narratur Elizabeth is a Correspondent at Impact Entrepreneur Magazine covering the impact investing industry.
Prior to Narratur Studio Elizabeth served as Chief of Staff during the development and launch of Adasian Social Capital’s Social Justice Investment Fund and in leadership roles at Confluence Philanthropy.
Elizabeth currently serves on the Investment Committee for the Sierra Pacific Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA). She also helps to publish the Renegade Capital Podcast and is a proud member of The Communications Network, Racial Communicators, Justice Funders, and Mission Investors Exchange.
She is also a Certified Enneagram Coach, working with teams to foster empathy and improve communication through the power of stories. Elizabeth holds an M.A. in Folklore from the University of California, Berkeley, where she specialized in the study of narrative and belonging, and a B.A. in Anthropology from Trinity University.
In her free time she reads as many books as she can get her hands on, cares for her 60+ houseplants, writes creative fiction, and swims in open water races. Currently a resident of Sacramento, CA, Elizabeth cherishes her roots growing up in rural Texas and Louisiana.
